This portrait of Suzanne Crookston, one of the daughters of arts patron Robert Crookston, is now in the Art Gallery of NSW collection. Although Arthur J Murch was not awarded the Archibald Prize, the work did earn him the prestigious award for best painting of the year from the New South Wales Society of Artists.
