Last year, in a brief window between COVID outbreaks, Sally M Nangala Mulda and Marlene Rubuntja travelled together from Mparntwe/Alice Springs to Sydney to view their artwork animated on the Sydney Opera House as part of Badu Gili: Wonder Women, curated by Coby Edgar [presented until the end of 2022]. This journey led to them remembering their shared childhood growing up in Amoonguna. Ms Mulda began a continuing body of work of those days, Old days.
