Our collaborative paintings are about the Country around Indulkana in the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, South Australia. This is our home, it is beautiful and special Country. We have our family history here, and this Country holds important Tjukurpa (cultural heritage) for us Yankunytjatjara people too.

Sharing the process of painting with my daughter is really special. As we work, I share stories with her about what it was like here when I was growing up, how it has changed over the years. When I was younger, the older ladies here taught me a lot about Country and culture, and I love sharing this with my daughter through our paintings.
