Louise Barbour My grandfather’s dream

My Russian grandfather is very special to me, so I have chosen to depict him. Since he was a child, his thriving passion has been to read stories of adventure and exploration in faraway lands. With the magic of brushes and paint, I have showered him in the fluorescent colours of the northern lights that he has always dreamt of seeing. Though he’s far too old to really become the characters he dreams of, nothing will ever stop him from travelling the world in his imagination.
