Jude Connor-Macintyre Captain

This is my great-grandpa Keith. I painted lots of aquatic stuff in the background because he runs the dolphin-watching boat in Port Adelaide and is surrounded by these things all the time. I used a cooler light blue because I think dark blue makes things look very muddy and dark, and I like experimenting with colour. I used a black outline so the bright colours would stand out. I created a serious mood with his facial expression, which reflects how he is in life. I also used pencils and markers to help the colours pop.
