Great Nanny Fox is sitting in front of her art. She was a painter. She visited the Archibald exhibition each year and travelled from Newcastle on the train. She especially loved looking at the Young Archies. She lived until ninety years old with five daughters, eleven grandchildren and seven (almost eight) great-grandchildren. She died, but I got to eat a Tim Tam with her before she did. She wasn’t hungry but she ate it for me, so I could feel comfortable saying goodbye.
