Six artists have been awarded the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship 2022.
Bill Hawkins, age 30, from Coburg, Victoria has been awarded the Cité internationale des arts, Paris residency.
Five artists have been awarded the Shark Island Kangaroo Valley residency: Mark Maurangi Carrol, age 27 from Randwick, NSW; Sarah Drinan, age 28 from Clifton Hill, Victoria; Miranda Hine, age 28 from Coorparoo, Queensland; Drew Connor Holland, age 27 from Darlinghurst, NSW; and Flin Sharp, age 28 from Randwick, NSW.

The six scholarship recipients were chosen from among the other finalists in the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship 2022: Amelia Carroll, age 28 from Kingston, ACT; Brodie Cullen, age 21 from Darlinghurst, NSW; Emily Galicek, age 27 from Newtown, NSW; Nina Radonja, age 30 from Chester Hill, NSW; and Oliver Scherer, age 24 from Darlinghurst, NSW.
